ECG (Electrocardiogram) An ECG records the electrical activity of your heart and is used in the assessment of chest pain, palpitations, shortness of breath, dizziness, and as part of cardiovascular risk screening. Our clinic is equipped to perform 12-lead ECGs in-house, with results reviewed by your GP on the same day.
Spirometry (Lung Function Testing) Spirometry measures airflow in and out of your lungs and is used in the diagnosis and management of asthma, COPD, and other respiratory conditions. It is also used as part of pre-employment medicals and health assessments.
Blood Pressure Monitoring High blood pressure (hypertension) is one of the most common and treatable risk factors for heart disease and stroke. Our GPs measure blood pressure as part of standard consultations and provide ambulatory or home blood pressure monitoring guidance for patients requiring a more detailed picture.
Health Risk Assessments We provide Medicare-funded health assessments for eligible patients, including the 45–49 year old health check (HealthPathways), Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health assessments, and 75+ health assessments. These structured reviews identify risk factors early and lead to personalised health action plans.
Diabetes Monitoring For patients with or at risk of type 2 diabetes, we provide HbA1c testing (via 4Cyte pathology), glucose monitoring guidance, and structured chronic disease management plans.
Imaging & Specialist Referrals When imaging (X-ray, ultrasound, CT, MRI) or specialist testing is required, our GPs provide well-documented referrals to trusted providers and follow up on all results in a timely manner.
